We keep this simple: we only collect what we need to run Tilaawah Hub and keep you updated, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Tilaawah Hub (“we”, “us”) runs tilaawahhub.com, organizes Umrah and Qur’an retreats, and shares updates with our community. You can reach us on WhatsApp, by email at info@tilaawahhub.com, or on Instagram at @tilaawahhub.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the Hub or ask to hear about our next retreat. We only add you if you tick the box agreeing to receive updates.
- What you tell us on WhatsApp, such as your name, phone number and questions, when you message us to ask about or reserve a trip.
- Basic visit information, such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and roughly where you are (country or city), collected by the tools below.
If you reserve a trip, we will ask for the details needed to book it, such as your full name and passport information. We collect those directly with you, not through this website, and use them only to arrange your trip.
How we use it
- To send you Hub updates and news about our retreats, if you signed up for them.
- To answer your questions and arrange your booking.
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Services we use
- HubSpot stores our email list and sends our emails. Its tracking code also helps us see how the site is used.
- WhatsApp (Meta) is how we chat with you when you message us.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and keeps it fast and secure.
These companies handle your information under their own privacy policies, and some of them may store it outside your country, including in the United States.
Cookies and local storage
HubSpot sets cookies to measure visits and remember your form details. This site also saves a few small settings in your browser, such as light or dark mode and whether you have already joined the Hub, so it doesn’t keep asking. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
- Ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing info@tilaawahhub.com. We will reply as soon as we can.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. Trip details are kept only as long as needed to arrange your trip and meet any legal or accounting requirements.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, contact us at info@tilaawahhub.com and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
